Social Networking, Not just for kids and famous people!

Social networking used to be attained by meeting with others in a physical location like a classroom, coffee shop, conference rooms, etc.  Now, with the internet becoming as popular and large as it has, and speaking through the internet and email becoming an essential form of communication, social networking web sites such as Facebook, MySpace, and Yahoo! 360 have become internet mega stars.  I used the sign-up tool on the Facebook landing page (pictured) to sign up for Facebook and realized instantly how incredible this form of networking can be.  As soon as you create your account, Facebook starts recommending others that have things in common with you ie: schools, towns, workplace, etc., so you can hit the Facebook road running.  As a business owner, you can make a page for your business, or product (pictured) and see how many people follow the site.  You can use this to communicate to your customers and post information about your business and products, services.  Will life ever be the same again?
